LSCD is offers various Pre-Professional training programs for serious dancers (ages 9-19) wishing to develop their technique, artistry, and knowledge of their dance field in preparation for a career in concert, commercial dance, or pro-level dance team.  Our programs include: Classical Ballet, Contemporary & Jazz, Hip Hop, and Drill/Dance Team.

Students have been accepted into some of the most prestigious university dance progams including: NYU Tisch School of the Arts in New York, Fordham/Ailey in New York, University of the Arts in Philadelphia, University of Texas at Austin, Boston Conservatory, and others.  They have also been accepted to summer intensives like Bolshoi Ballet, Koltun Ballet, Kirov Academy, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Alonzo King LINES, NYU Tisch High School Summer Intensive, Joffrey Ballet, and others.

Pre-Professional Program students have the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers from the US and abroad, attend prestigious conferences and competitions, including: Youth America Grand Prix, JUMP Tour, 24 Seven, Artists Simply Human, Monsters of Dance, NYCDA, and others. They also participate in choreography festivals such as the Austin Dance Festival in Austin, Texas and New Century Dance Project in Salt Lake City, Utah.
